Latest project. We had to make a comic or short film inspired by not being able to sleep at night. When I was a little girl, I used to think there were small trolls teasing me and making scary noises to stop me from going to sleep. So I made this :)
I still need to add a soundtrack, but i'll update the soundincluded version later :)

This is beautiful. I love the smoothness of the animation, I can only imagine how much work you've put into that. The story is also very good. I really wished it was longer :D

Wow!!! How many drawings did you have to make this? Did you have to scan each one? This is awesome! :D

When we were younger and we couldn't go to sleep, we'd wait for our parents to go to bed. Then, we'd try and be ninjas, sneak out of our beds and into the hallway, and try to get the closest to our parents' room without getting noticed. Haha!

this is about 590 frames :) and i didn't have to scan, It's a stopmotion video by drawing with charcoal and then rubbing stuff out to replace it and move it that way :)

Haha! I always hid in my parents closet and trying to do so without waking them. And then I would startle them when they woke up :P

it really was, but it was also so much fun. Took three weeks of my life though haha XD but I'm quite statisfied with the results! thank you!

wakker liggen is dutch for lying awake, so in more british correct terms, insomnia :P
